Built for Childhood. Designed with Purpose.

Because we keep our community intentionally small, every child at The Finding Place is truly known, deeply valued, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

Reggio-Inspired

We honor each child as capable, curious, and uniquely created. By following their interests and meeting them where they are, we create meaningful opportunities for exploration, creativity, and joyful learning.

Every Day Outdoors

Children don't just go outside — they belong there. Every day, rain or shine, nature becomes our classroom as children explore, imagine, create, and discover through the wonder of the world around them, nurturing curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

A Place to Belong

The best learning happens when children feel safe, seen, and loved. Our close-knit community gives children and families the time and space to build lasting relationships and truly feel at home.

Our Philosophy

Childhood isn't a race.

We believe the early years are for wondering, wandering, building, digging, asking, and becoming. As a small Christian, child-led school, we let academic readiness grow naturally out of rich play, real conversation, and a child who feels safe, known, and loved.

Our approach draws from the Reggio Emilia approach and nature-based education: child-led discovery, beautiful materials, and the East Texas outdoors as a daily teacher.
